WELCOME TO USA HOCKEY’S
LEVEL 3 COACHING RECERTIFICATION PROGRAM

USA Hockey passed legislation in 2002 that requires all USA Hockey Coaches to:

Attain a specific level of Coaching Certification based upon the level of play you are coaching.
Coaches must progress at least 1 level every 3 years until they have reached level 3.
Once they have achieved level 3 they must do one of the following:

Move up to level 4
Retake level 3
Attend a specialized USA Hockey clinic / workshop
Participate in the On-Line Recertification Program

NOTE: Check the changes to the USA Hockey Annual Guide for new requirements for certification. Contact your District Coach-in-Chief for further information.

This USA Hockey On-Line Recertification Program will enable coaches who successfully complete the courses to fulfill their requirements for the USA Hockey Coaching Education Program.

By participating in this program students will experience the latest in web based training techniques that will allow them to benefit from:

Participating in a self paced learning program that will result in increased knowledge retention.
Engaging multi-media instruction with high quality video; audio; graphics; animation and on-screen text.
