Adobe / Macromedia,
has recently released an upgrade to the Flash Media Player
product which is used by flexxCOACH to present the flexxCOACH University
courses and the USA Hockey Recertification Program.
The Flash Media Player upgrade includes a new security model which
prohibits the player from reading files that are located on the client's
computer. This includes files contained on a CD.
flexxCOACH is currently working on a solution which will allow our customers to
use the University CDs with the newer version of the Flash Player, however, until this
solution is implemented we are urging our CD customers to continue using
Flash Player version 7.
If you have already upgraded to the newer version of the Flash Player, you can revert
to version 7 by following the instructions below.
To UNINSTALL Flash Player Version 9+ Click on the following
link and follow the instructions.
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157
To INSTALL Flash Player Version 7.0. Be sure that you have first uninstalled the Flash Player then read the instructions below and click on the link for the browser that you are using.
Internet Explorer
When prompted, click "Run" to start the installation.
Netscape / Firefox
When prompted, download/save the install file (flashplayer7r61_win.exe) to a directory
that you can easily access ( we recommend selecting your desktop ).
Once downloaded, double click on the flashplayer7r61_win.exe file to start the installation. After the installation has completed, you may delete the flashplayer7r61_win.exe file.

Please note that these changes only affect customers who are using the low
bandwidth CD solution. If you are not using a CD to view the video content, you
will not be affected by this issue.

Thank you for your patience and understanding,
