USA Hockey passed legislation in 2010 that requires all USA Hockey Coaches to recertify their Level 3 certification by participating in the Online Recertification Program. Coaches can recertify online only twice and then must move up and attend a Level 4 clinic.

Any coach with an expired Level 3 certification or soon-to-be expired Level 3 certification may participate in this Online Recertification Program.

Please note: Your name must appear on the USA Hockey online certification list with a Level 3 certification or you must have proof of your previous Level 3 certification in order to continue. Your eligibility to participate in this program and receive credit towards your USA Hockey Recertification requirement will be verified by USA Hockey once you have completed your courses. No refunds will be given once you have started your courses, even in the event that it should be determined by USA Hockey that you are not currently eligible for Recertification.

Effective for the 2013-14 season: All coaches must be paid members of USA Hockey in order to receive USA Hockey certification. This includes coaching clinic certification, online age-specific modules and the Level 3 recertification. Please click here to register for the 2013-14 season if you have not already done so.

This USA Hockey On-Line Recertification Program will enable coaches who successfully complete the courses to fulfill their requirements for the USA Hockey Coaching Education Program.

A broadband connection is REQUIRED for the online Recertification Program.
